Morocco: Marrakech Golf Festival 2026

Escape the winter and enjoy a week of golf, sunshine, friendly competition and Moroccan hospitality at the Marrakech Golf Festival.

Taking place from 29th November to 6th December 2026, this international amateur tournament brings golfers together for five competitive rounds across five of Marrakech's outstanding golf courses:

Open to amateur golfers of all levels, including Men, Ladies, Senior Men and Senior Ladies, the festival combines competitive golf with a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

Across the week, competitors will experience five different courses, cocktail receptions, prize presentations, a Golf Trick Show, sightseeing in Marrakech, traditional Moroccan entertainment and a Gala Dinner.

With the spectacular Atlas Mountains providing the backdrop and the sights, sounds and colours of Marrakech waiting beyond the fairways, this is much more than a golf tournament.

It's a complete Moroccan golf experience – and the perfect opportunity to swap the British winter for a week of Golf, Sun & Fun in Marrakech.

Tournament Format

The Marrakech Golf Festival is a five-round Individual Stableford tournament played across five different golf courses.

The tournament is open to male and female amateur golfers and is played using WHS handicaps with the appropriate course adjustments.

Maximum Playing Handicap:
Men – 28
Ladies – 36

Golfers with higher handicaps are welcome to enter but will play from the applicable maximum tournament handicap.

The tournament field is limited to a maximum of 72 golfers, helping retain the friendly and sociable atmosphere of the festival.

The Experience

The Marrakech Golf Festival is about considerably more than the scorecard.

Five rounds across five different courses provide the competitive element, but the festival has been designed to allow golfers and accompanying guests to experience Marrakech away from the fairways too.

The week's programme includes:

• Four cocktail parties with canapés

• Golf Trick Show with PGA Professional Karsten Maas

• Half-day guided tour of Marrakech

• Visit to the Medina, souks and Djemaa el-Fnaa

• Dinner and traditional Moroccan show at Chez Ali

• Gala Dinner with entertainment

• Tournament prize presentations

• Private transfers between the hotel and golf courses

There is also a dedicated non-golf day during the week, providing the perfect opportunity to explore Marrakech and experience one of Morocco's most fascinating cities.

Whether you're travelling with golfing friends, as a couple or on your own, the festival provides a wonderfully sociable environment in which to meet fellow golfers from around the world.

There is plenty to play for throughout the Marrakech Golf Festival, with prizes awarded both during the individual tournament rounds and for the overall festival.

Daily prize-giving ceremonies and cocktail receptions add to the festival atmosphere, before the week culminates with the Marrakech Golf Festival Gala Dinner and overall Prize Giving Ceremony.

Entry & Booking

The tournament has a minimum field of 30 players and a maximum of just 72 golfers, so early booking is recommended.
